Ecotarium overnight

Join Pack 4 families for a special overnight experience at the Worcester Ecotarium! The program will include opportunities to explore the Museum, hands-on educational activities, an evening snack, a planetarium show under the stars, and sleeping among the exhibits, as well as a continental breakfast and a tour of some outdoor exhibits on Sunday. All youth guests will also receive a free return admission pass to visit the Museum again on a future date.

When: Saturday, November 16th - Sunday, November 17th, 2024; check in is between 5:15-6:15pm and check-out is at 9:30am.

Where: Worcester Ecotarium, 222 Harrington Way, Worcester, MA 01604

Cost: The cost of the overnight is $65 per adult and $30 per scout (the Ecotarium charges $65 for all attendees, but Pack 4 is happy to be able to subsidize a portion of the cost for scouts thanks to our popcorn fundraiser!) Families will be billed via PayPal after registering.  

Please Note:  We were able to reserve 60 spots for the overnight, so registration is on a first-come, first-served basis. We may be able to add additional spots; I'll maintain a waitlist if/when we fill the initial 60.  In order to ensure that as many scouts as possible can attend, we ask that only one parent/guardian per family attend, and we are not able to accommodate non-scout siblings on this overnight. 

Scout BSA rules require that any adult participating in a scout overnight other than a parent or legal guardian must be registered with the BSA. If a grandparent or other relative will attend with your scout, please let us know ASAP so we can start the registration process. 

SAMPLE SCHEDULE: 

• 5:15 pm – 6:15pm - Arrival and check-in

• 6:30 pm - Program begins including hands-on activities and evening snack

• 9:30 pm - Evening planetarium show

• 10:00 pm - Bedtime

• 7:00 am - Wake up and breakfast

• 8:00 am - Morning programming

• 9:15 am - Museum Gift Shop Opens

• 9:30 am - Check out
